You may, at times, have noticed the Informed Choice and Informed Sport logos on the packaging of many AdvoCare® products. We’re taking a moment today to break down the differences between these two designations, and to hear why they are so important to athletes, AdvoCare Distributors and sport and medical professionals alike.

AdvoCare formed a strategic partnership with LGC, who offer the Informed Choice and Informed Sport testing certifications, on February 10, 2009 to certify the products that carry the logos are banned substance free. AdvoCare values its relationships with the athletic community. With testing on the rise for performance-enhancing substances, both at the amateur and professional levels, this partnership allows consumers to make informed choices about what they put into their bodies.

So what exactly is each designation?

Informed Choice

Products that carry the Informed-Choice logo go through a full manufacturing audit and are regularly tested (at least once a month) for a wide variety of WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) banned substances.

Informed Sport

Products that carry the Informed-Sport logo go through a full manufacturing audit and every batch is tested for a wide variety of WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) banned substances.

Informed Choice and Informed Sport certifications position AdvoCare as a leader in the sports performance and nutrition industries. Athletes and consumers who see the Informed Choice and Informed Sport logos on a product can be assured it has undergone rigorous checks and testing to ensure that it has been tested for the presence of banned substances and is safer for use.

I am responsible for anything I put in my body. I know that if I want to be at my absolute best, I need to know that what I put into my body works, but that it is also tested. In the AdvoCare products I take, the Informed-Choice certification helps give me that peace of mind.

As a former trainer and gym owner I pay close attention to what goes in my body.  Knowing that the AdvoCare products I take are Informed Choice certified gives me peace of mind that I’m getting products manufactured to the highest quality standards and don’t contain anything not on the label.  For myself, my family and my customers this is extremely important and why we put our trust in AdvoCare.
