With a no-excuses mindset and a passion for AdvoCare and all things fitness, the full-time trainer and professional body builder shares how he’s impacting lives along his journey.

Favorite product mixture
I like mixing AdvoCare Arginine Extreme® with Spark® in the morning before cardio. If I’m in bulking season and lifting heavy for a competition, I mix AdvoCare Arginine Extreme with Mass Impact®.
How did you discover AdvoCare?
A friend introduced me, and I wasn’t too thrilled about it, but then the next week my fraternity brother also mentioned AdvoCare®. We decided to join together. I tried Spark® and noticed a big difference. Once I got into body building, Spark helped give me the energy to workout at 5 a.m. I noticed I wasn’t sluggish and was up and ready to go!*

How did you get started?
After sharing with just a few friends and coworkers, I had a lot of people calling to try it. There are so many products out there that people are skeptical of using, but when they try Spark® they say “wow” and tell their friends. I was also leading a boot camp and shared with clients. I encouraged them to try the 24-Day JumpStart® and held a challenge. Many times people don’t want to spend the money, so I tried to find a way that they could see the results for themselves by doing the JumpStart with them. I wanted them to know I believed in the products. Nine of us participated, and each of us got results. It all started from there.
At what point did you realize AdvoCare was more than just an energy drink?
In 2016, we had a great flood in Louisiana. People were trying to evacuate, and I stayed to help. I lost everything but my dog and car. At the time I was working with homeland security, and fitness was a part-time thing for me – If someone asked about AdvoCare®, I would share it with them. But after that experience and once I started seeing the benefits and researching the products, I became more knowledgeable and wanted to share what I had found through AdvoCare with others.
How did you start your personal training business?
Right after the flood, my life was changed. I was trying to rebuild my home and traveling for work. I had to make a decision on my future, so I stepped out and started personal training full time. I kept pushing and learning, and over the past year people seemed more interested in living a healthier lifestyle, so I gained more clients. When one person saw their friend having success, they wanted to know what they were doing. Because trust was there, they followed suit. I couldn’t work at the gym for several months, so I transformed my carport into a gym and began collecting equipment to train people at my home.
How do you share the products today?
I own a personal training business called Dig Deep Fitness. I mostly share products through word of mouth from clients.
How has your health and fitness journey evolved over time?
I’ve gone from being an amateur body builder to becoming a professional body builder.
Any interesting stories from your fitness journey?
The first week of August 2016 I competed in a body building competition, and won and qualified for nationals. The second week of August 2016 I had lost my home due to the flood. Many people left, but I stayed to help people out of their homes. At one point we were rescuing people with a canoe. During that time, I had a trip scheduled to Pittsburgh to compete in nationals. I wasn’t going to go but needed a break. I came back as an IFBB (International Federation of BodyBuilders) Pro. Though I didn’t have much, I did have the passion and desire to achieve my goal and came back with my pro card.
What advice would you give a new Distributor just starting out?
Don’t get frustrated. The products speak for themselves. If I have extra products, I share samples along with how I use it. When people try it before buying, they are more willing to make a purchase. Always have products on hand.
What brings you the most joy in life?
Helping people become healthier versions of themselves.
