Today, AdvoCare International (AdvoCare), a premier health and wellness company, announced a donation of more than 75,000 meals to the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) to support families with increased food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of the AdvoCare support, NTFB will be able to build up to 60,000 Food Boxes on a weekly basis for partner agencies to distribute across North Texas.
“The number of people in our neighborhoods who are food insecure will only increase during this time and we are proud to support the North Texas Food Bank in their mission to provide healthy food to those in need. We are all in this together, and AdvoCare will continue to give back in our communities to ensure all of us emerge from this crisis as strong as possible.”

About North Texas Food Bank
The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit hunger-relief organization operating a state-of-the-art volunteer and distribution center in Plano-the Perot Family Campus. Last year, the Food Bank worked hard in partnership with member agencies from our Feeding Network to provide to almost 77 million nutritious meals across a diverse 13-county service area -this means more than 200,000 meals per day for hungry children, seniors, and families. But the need for hunger relief in North Texas is complex and in order to meet the need, the NTFB is working to increase our food distribution efforts. Our goal is to provide access to 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025.
