AdvoCare, a premier health and wellness company, today announced a $7,500 contribution benefitting Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding Association (JHTRA) in Teton Village, Wyo. The organization promotes healing with horses through equine-assisted therapeutic and educational activities for people of all ages with disabilities.
“AdvoCare is committed to equipping individuals with resources to pursue healthy and fulfilling lives,” said Allison Levy, executive vice president and chief legal officer for AdvoCare. “We are honored to support an organization like Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding Association and their mission to empower those living with disabilities to achieve their highest quality of life through the power of riding horses.”
On Thursday, May 19, AdvoCare representatives presented JHTRA with the donation at Diamond Cross Ranch. After recent losses, AdvoCare’s donation will provide JHTRA the opportunity to purchase three additional horses to train for therapeutic riding.
“Our horses are our most valuable employees—our therapeutic partners. These incredible animals enhance the quality of life for hundreds of people in the course of their career, and without a sufficient number of quality horses our program would not be possible,” said Tori Fancher, executive director for Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding Association. “Thank you, AdvoCare, for recognizing the value of our work. Your company’s generosity will truly have a direct and lasting impact on our program and our riders.”
The AdvoCare donation is in conjunction with its recent Independent Distributor trip to Jackson Hole, Wyo. More than 200 AdvoCare Independent Distributors attended the trip.
