AdvoCare International, L.P. (AdvoCare) today announced the signing of Trevor Harris, quarterback for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL), to its roster of athlete product endorsers. Harris is the fifth football player to be added to AdvoCare’s endorser list and the only football player from the CFL.
“We’re incredibly pleased with the opportunity to partner with Trevor,” says Joshua Watts, AdvoCare Director of Sponsorships. “Trevor’s outstanding success in the league and his longtime history as an AdvoCare product consumer make him a fantastic addition to our team of athlete endorsers. We look forward to supporting him in all of his athletic endeavors.”
Hailing from Waldo, Ohio, Harris was the starting quarterback for Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, a member of NCAA Division II conference. Harris currently holds many of the school’s passing records, finishing his career with 11,899 passing yards, a 66 percent pass completion rate, and throwing for 100 touchdowns that season. After playing for some time as a free agent, Harris signed a two-year contract with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2016, where he went 242-for-330 for 3,301 yards and 16 touchdowns. Harris is a two-time Herman Hill Trophy finalist (2008, 2009); two-time Canadian League Champion (2012, 2016); and a CFL East Division All-Star (2016).
Harris says he uses AdvoCare products such as Spark® to help him prepare for and remain focus during the demands of his position.
Though AdvoCare products can only be purchased for personal consumption in Canada at this time, AdvoCare announced earlier this year at its annual National Success School that it would soon begin expanding its business opportunity to Canada by the end of this year.
