AdvoCare International, L.P. (AdvoCare) recently announced Swarna Murugan as its new Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Prior to her promotion, Murugan served as an integral part on the IT team at AdvoCare for 15 years. With experience across multiple disciplines, including Infrastructure, IT Security, Business Intelligence, Database Administration and Web Application Development. In partnership with multiple teams across the company, Murugan has been a key player in assuring the success of multiple product launches and the implementation of new programs, such as AdvoCare’s Preferred Customer program, where she lead the team who changed more than 70 percent of the back end code in just three months; several web refreshes of advocare.com, and more.
