AdvoCare, a leading health and wellness company that sells through the direct sales channel, today announced the addition of Brett Blake to the executive team as the new President of Global Sales and Strategic Planning.

Brett joins AdvoCare from Origami Owl Family of Brands where he served as CEO and led the acquisition of Willa – a skincare line of products for the tween market – relaunching that brand as part of the new Willing Beauty Company. During his almost four years as Managing Director of Team Beachbody, Brett worked with the company’s field leaders to develop a simple, social media-enabled system to ensure the success of customers and new Coach distributors. Under Brett’s leadership, Beachbody’s direct selling division evolved from a small experiment to the primary driver, leading the company to annual sales of more than a billion dollars. After his departure from Beachbody, he served as an Independent member of Beachbody’s Board of Directors.

Reporting to Chairman and CEO Brian Connolly, Brett will help lead day-to-day sales operations and the company’s effort to develop strategy that ensures AdvoCare Distributors’ success in the U.S. and new global markets. Brett’s new position comes after several executive changes including Patrick Wright moving into the role of Senior Vice President of International Sales and a promotion for long-time AdvoCare executive Rick Loy to Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales and Training.
